The Essentials:
Hey! I’m Tracy. Here’s the important bits:
Photographer. YouTuber. Videographer in training. Marketing nerd. Stock contributor. Homeschooling Mum to 3 monkeys. Need coffee to function before 12, keeps me awake if I drink it after 12. Normal gal, weird life. Still figuring out what I want to be “when I grow up”. Constant list-maker (not always follow-through-er though); focusing on reading self-growth books this year; and corporate receptionist and PA in my past life. (Y’know, pre-kids). This works in my favour for creating and designing lists and instruction manuals. Who knew that would be a skill I could pull into my future and actually LOVE to do? lol. Child of the 80’s. Have teenagers, refuse to speak “Gen Z”.
Super excited you’re here!
I Love My Camera and Moody Photos
I LOVE moody photos. The kind you’re drawn into like a good story. Where the linens are clean, the muffin tins are well used, the paper is scorched, and you’re pretty sure you can actually smell the fresh blueberry brioche wafting off the page…
Every chance I get I’m playing with my camera, learning a new editing technique, or completing a course to try to bring my photos to life as much as possible. Because it’s not just about pretty pictures, it’s about telling a story.
A story of those fresh warm blueberry brioche’s (is “brioche’s” even a word??), how relaxed you’d feel after a glass of that incredible red wine at the end of the day, or how your zest for life will come back after a stay at that place that is both Instagram worthy AND amazing for your soul…
I’m still trying to incorporate “moody” into my wedding photography too - it’s a bit of a different editing process when it’s mid-day summer sun… but I’ll figure it out!
So if you’re after legacy photo’s for either your business or your special day - make sure to have a good click around the website and drop me a line when you’re ready!

Capture Your Legacy
In this day and age of social media and digital photos, where our phones are full and our socials are never ending… what do you share with your grandkids?
What do you print out and frame and ACTUALLY take the time to put on your walls?
If you curated a gallery in your living room of your favourite photos of and from your life - THOSE are your
Legacy.
Whether it’s your wedding day, the birth of your child, your parents, your grandparents, a photo of the family business…
THAT’s what I want to give to you.
To know that ONE of the photos I take, will end up on that Legacy wall. And that’s why I want to Capture Your Legacy.
Why pick me to be part of your journey?

You’re looking for moody, editorial style photography
You adore detail shots as much as I do
You have a small business or a project (like a cookbook -you can pay me in brioche….;) )
You’re looking for idea’s, support, and a chill but focused photographer
You want a photographer that is willing to understand YOUR business and goals and work with you to get to where you want to be
You like supporting local New Zealand small businesses
And you like my other work…. ;)
We’d work well together if….

We’re a family business.
It’s actually one of the reasons I chose “Red & the Wolf” for the name. I wanted something that wasn’t specifically “Tracy’s Photography”.
They are my models, my assistants, my biggest supporters, and incredibly patient when we’re out walking and I’m so far behind cos I’m taking “just one more photo”…
They’re quiet when I record my YouTube’s, hold equipment for me, bake cookies for client when they come around and help me run around and clean up so the house looks tidy!
The house is arranged for me to have full access to the lounge for shoots and client meet ups, and when I wanted to drag them all to Rotorua for a “Red and the Wolf” shoot in the Redwoods… they all came along and kept me calm in my stress.
They offer advice, and even help me take photo’s of myself when I need photos for youtube or my website.
And now I’m training up the girls to be “second shooters” for me - so if you hire me - it’s possible an apprentice will be helping out. <3
