Headshots and Portraits represent something…
… and it’s not just about getting pretty photo’s of your subject - it’s about telling THEIR story through that image.
I started my photography journey back in 2018 when my partner got a camera for recording auditions for him and my son - so, naturally, getting updated headshots for their acting agents became part of my “things to do” list. But I fell in love with it.
So whether you’re looking for acting headshots for your agents, mock modeling shots for your portfolio, personalised branding shots for your company website (or the good old traditional business cards!) - have a look through these and drop me an email to set up a shoot for yourself or your staff!
Seth Flynn - Actor
My partner in crime, Seth Flynn. We took updated headshots for his agent in 2021. He was generally cast as “the bad guy” in most roles because of his intense look - so we rolled with it. Dark background, played with the lighting to make it a little more dramatic, and pushed up the “grungy bad guy” look in post-processing. Even though he’s put acting on the back burner currently, you might have seen him in Sweet Tooth, Savage or Almost Paradise most recently.
Eden Flynn - Actor
The eldest of our wee circus, Eden, started acting in short films with his Dad when he was about 10. We updated his head shots after this beautiful short film (Rustling) was shot, as we cut his hair after leaving it long for the production. (He’s the one holding the lamb). You might also have seen him in Savage with his Dad, and as the mean popular kid in the first season of Raising Refugees. (Total opposite of his personality! lol)
The black and white ones were mainly for us, but his agent loved the colour versions.

Hineariki - Model
An old schoolmate of mine messaged me about her niece who was creating a modeling portfolio and asked if I’d do a shoot with her for some agency shots. Not only were her and her Mum the nicest people, Hineariki was just so easy to photograph! We got through the basic headshots and then went into creative mode. Everyone was happy with the end result, and I can’t wait to work with her again in the future!

Keith Maynard - Photographer
Generally, Keith’s on the other side of the camera - but he humoured me to step into an awesome fun early Christmas shoot. Think Santa, if Santa was on Peaky Blinders. ;) It’s always fun to step into creative mode where you get to set it up and call the creative shots too! And he’s a real gentle giant - even the smallest in the household loved him! (You’re missing your calling Keith!) ;)

Steampunk - Calendar Shoot
A few years ago I had the opportunity to bring my camera along to a professional shoot and take some extra pics, and I jumped at the chance! The local Steampunk community had organised a calendar shoot, and Steamy Sisters (the local shop) had opened its doors to turn the huge space into one giant studio - with access to all the clothing and accessories too! Although I can’t take credit for the outfits and setup, it was a dream space to shoot in!
